D is for digital. This is the age of all things digital. The possibility of digitial overload is certain. This overwhelming flow of information is exponentially increased by Web 2.0. Of course this is a good thing but at what point is the amount of informtion so great that in total it becomes useless. How do we decide what is useful and what is not. How do we agree on what info is correct or revelant since no one and everyone is the editor.

I think it is a filtering process where we have to select only a few tools in order to be productive in a classroom setting. For example, I have found that blogs are useful for team projects. Students can all view work done by their colleagues. The value of Web 2.0 is collaborative learning and a number of Web 2.0 methods allow for collaborative learning.
